Grooming Report

Hi Everybody,

Went up today and shoveled snow into the bare spots and graded the skating lane from skyway parking lot to the microwave tower.  Skating is still pretty good and fast. The classic track very marginal, with earth showing through in some spots and the tracks are glazed over. Think snow...

Sunday Grooming Update

Jon Canty spent several hours shoveling snow today and he also grated the skate lane on Scales Lake to the towers. The sunniest spots are still a little scrappy, but from the snowmobile crossing to the tower the skiing is still quite good.

Kenton will be out tomorrow doing some more shoveling on the sunny spots.

Think snow! Thanks to Jon and Kenton for their hard work.

Snow Report

The snow on Scales Lake Rd is holding up pretty well, considering how warm it has been this last week. Areas with continuous full sun have a few bare spots (ski alert you can easily bypass them without hitting dirt or harming your skis). Once you get past the section near the parking lot, conditions improve. We'll try to get out and do some shoveling before the next snow.

Snow is pretty scrappy over at County Line. Better to stick to Scales right now.

We'll groom again once we get a little more snow. The forecast shows a 20% chance of snow on the Mesa Sunday night and Monday. Do your best snow dance and check back here for updates.

Hi Everybody,

Thank you for letting me take photos of you today, Ocotober 31.  It was so nice seeing everyone out and enjoying themselves with the first snow.  Let's think more snow and again, thank you for letting me share this beautiful day with you.

Grooming Report

About 15" of snow on the ground.
Jon and I groomed nearly 10k today for skate and classic skiing.  Scales Lake Road is rock free and groomed from the Skyway parking lot out to the microwave tower.  We also groomed the Dog Trail and Dog loop at County Line. There are a few rocks and willows showing on these two trails.  Overall skiing was great for the first day of the season.
